How did you get into Greenhouse Agriculture?
In the fall of 2001, I was on a tour of agricultural operations up the central coast with a group from university. While I was always interested in greenhouse growing I had no concept of the scope or possibilities of greenhouse farming until we visited Houweling’s Nurseries. It is that time of the year again as The Super Bowl pool is moving across the office everyone at Houweling’s Tomatoes is excited about the big game! This year’s game showcases the best offense the league has seen in years (Denver Broncos) and the best defense in the NFL (Seattle Seahawks).
Hopefully it is an exciting game that comes down to the final minutes, but either way the Super Bowl is a great excuse to get together with family and friends, eat food, relax, and watch some of the best television commercials of the year.… Read more
