Tomatoes on the vine
Large Tomatoes On The Vine (TOV’s) are Houweling’s most popular variety of tomatoes. At harvest, we carefully hand-pick them by the cluster so that the vine can continue to add nutrients and flavor on the journey from our greenhouse to your table. A perfect fresh staple on your counter, (not the refrigerator), sweet and juicy TOV’s are marvelous in salads, salsas, sauces and sandwiches.
Roma Tomatoes
Once considered the Italian cooking tomato and the choice of chefs, Roma Tomatoes On The Vine have become extremely popular and multifunctional. Rich in color and deep in flavor, they can be roasted, used in sauces, soups and salsas, and served as a healthy fresh side dish. Roma’s are characterized by an oval shape, a thin skin, firm flesh, few seeds and low acidity.
Grape Tomatoes
Bite-sized with big flavor, Houweling’s Grape Tomatoes are one of our most popular varieties. Perfect for snacking, their firm texture and sweet taste make them a healthy and tasty addition to a school lunch bag. Grape Tomatoes also enjoy the longest shelf life of any of our Tomatoes. So enjoy them on their own, in a salad, on a veggie tray or on a pizza.
